The Justice Solutions Group ‘Future Mentors’ Scholarship
At Justice Solutions Group we deeply care about the well-being of families, communities, and the success of future generations. Our company was founded and united under the mantle of mentorship through Big Brothers Big Sisters America. Since then both of us have sharpened one another and grown not only a business, but a family united in the common goal of strengthening the mentorship and entrepreneur community. We both understand the power of mentorship and know firsthand how influential building valuable relationships can be in promoting healthy individuals and thriving communities.
That’s why this scholarship provides us with the meaningful opportunity to give back and help support an aspiring student with a similar vision. We hope to do our best to encourage the next generation to follow their dreams and achieve their goals. We’re proud to offer this award as a demonstration of our commitment to the continued development of future community leaders.
All students who have received an acceptance letter from an accredited university, US College, or trade/vocational school as well as current undergraduate students, are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Please submit an essay between 800 and 1500 words on how you believe mentorship can benefit future generations. If you have personal experience with mentorship, as a mentor or mentee, please explain how that has impacted and benefited you. Feel free to include Big Brother or Big Sister programs, influential teachers or role-models, and any other relationship that has enriched your life.
Additionally, please upload a video explaining your essay and your insights on mentorship. It should be 5 to 10 minutes in length. Include your personal experience and how that has shaped you. Get creative and be yourself…let us see your passion for mentorship!
Please submit a copy of either your acceptance letter or proof of enrollment at an accredited university/college/trade school that is listed on the U.S. Department of Education’s official website.

You must include:
A statement or copy of your academic status in addition to evidence that you have been accepted to, or are currently enrolled in, a college/university/trade school as outlined above. By applying for this scholarship, you provide us with expressed consent to confirm your admission and attendance by contacting your academic institution.
Your essay must be submitted as a Word or PDF document, any applications submitted by other forms will be rejected.

The deadline for all applications is December 31, 2017. Any applications received after this date will not be accepted. The winning entry will be announced on January 15th, 2018.
The winning applicant will be chosen by a member of The Justice Solutions Group based on the student’s essay and video submissions.
The scholarship funds will be awarded via check, PayPal, or other means if necessary.
This scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis.
Terms & Conditions:
All submitted photos, videos, and essays must be original work of the applicant. Only one submission may be entered per candidate, per year. All duplicate entries will be disqualified. All scholarships are non-renewable. By submitting an application to Justice Solutions Group Scholarship, you certify that all the information you have provided is accurate and complete. The applicant automatically grants Justice Solutions Group, its agents and/or representatives permission to:
Use their name, photo, essay response, and award amount, if any, in announcements or articles including, but not limited to, social media, newsletter, etc. issued by Justice Solutions Group.
Post the applicant’s name, college or university, video, and essay on Justice Solutions Group’s website, jsgfirm.com.
Call and/or send information to the applicant regarding their application.
Winners will be notified via email, and announced publicly, as well as on jsgfirm.com and social media pages.
Students must show proof of current enrollment to an accredited US college, university or vocational/trade school within 21 calendar days by submitting either a copy of the tuition bill or a letter of proof from the school. In the event a winner cannot prove their enrollment to an accredited college, university or vocational/trade school, The Justice Solutions Group will revoke the award for that individual and award it to the first runner-up.
The winner agrees to provide high-resolution jpeg images or high-resolution scans of original prints or negatives for reproduction by Justice Solutions Group. The images or scans must be received with a signed statement granting Justice Solutions Group the right to use them, according to the stipulations above, prior to the award being released.
