Adam spent 30 years with the LAPD, retiring as a Lieutenant II, Robbery-Homicide Division, Homicide Special Section.
As a Lieutenant in LAPD, Adam was the Officer in Charge of The FBI Violent Crime Task Force-Los Angeles, Criminal Investigation Section, JTTF, The Special Investigation Section and Homicide Special Section- Robbery Homicide Section. Adam’s private investigative work has included both Fortune 500 and entertainment industry clients
Adam is a California licensed private investigator. He also founded and managed Critical Solutions Protective Services Group from 2010 to 2017, a licensed security company that provided both security guard and off-duty police officers to two of the most high-profile retail centers in California.
As an expert, Adam has focused on public safety employment, use of force by police officers and security guards (including deadly force), general police tactics, undercover tactics, criminal conspiracy, Brady issues, counterterrorism, kidnapping, private security operations, liability and more.
Adam’s clients include major municipalities, major insurance carriers, and various law enforcement agencies.
